Q. My husband and I used to travel for his business.  Now I can't go or pick him up from the airport or reach him at night in his hotel room!  Is he cheating on me?  Michelle - Marlboro, NJ

A. "You do have a lot of the signs of a cheater.  In his mind his girlfriend now has a free vacation with him.  The car service is picking them both up when he is arriving back.  He's not answering his phone because he is busy with her."

Q. My daughter is only 22 years old an dating a male who is 15 years older than her.  My wife and I don't like him.  We can never get a straight answer from him and he will not tell us anything about his past.

Q. I'm dating someone I met off the Internet six months ago.  We met several times and we are supposed to be exclusive.  How can I make sure this is true?

Q. I am divorced for two years.  Someone told me that my ex-wife has a live-in boyfriend alone with my two young daughters.  What should I do?

"We find most men in this situation are living better than they were living alone.  If it doesn't work out for him, he was still better off than before.  If your ex-wife has a live-in boyfriend your alimony possibly can be reduced.  Do you worry about your children?  Find out the background of the new boyfriends.  Is he a sex offender?  Don't hesitate."

Q. I'm a widower for three years and  am very lonely.  I met a much younger female on the Internet.  we usually "IM" each other several times a day.  I really cared about her.  She had some medical bills that I offered to pay because she was so nice to me.  Now she hasn't spoken to me in two weeks. Do you think she is back in the hospital?

A. "When people are lonely they will believe in anyone who tells them what they want to hear.  You are probably one of the many she is scamming.  I think she is on vacation with her boyfriend using your money!  We see this all of the time. I'm sorry."

Lately my husband has been acting very distant towards me.  When I question him, he states it's in my mind and he loves me.  He has also been working a lot of overtime.  I checked his cell phone after he worked late one evening and noticed that he cleared the call history.  I feel there may be someone in his life.  How can I get the truth out of him?

"From what you have stated, I would agree that something has been occupying him.  You also state that he claims he loves you.  What that tells me is that if in fact he is probably having an affair - it is probably a physical one and not an emotional one. Unfortunately, many men can sleep with another woman and still love their wife.  These men have their cake and eat it too.  If your goal is to get him to admit it - well forget it. His admission won't happen. Trust your instincts."
